I stayed at Blanco Mar Hotel for a week during my trip to El Rodadero. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was superb - close to the beach, restaurants, and a short walk to downtown. The room was clean and comfortable, with a strong A/C and the nicest towels I've used in a Colombian hotel. The daily cleaning service was exceptional and made my stay even more enjoyable. it was a great experience and I will definitely return.
Totally recommend this hotel.

the air conditioner unit worked. hotel was clean. staff was friendly.
the rooms are very small. not enough space for 4 people. all the door hinges squeaked. found better lodging (bigger, more private) much closer to the beach.

The AC was chilly and the bed was comfortable. the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Hotel was very quiet. Great hosts, superb, secure location, close to the beach, restaurants and 15 mins walk to downtown, comfortable bed.
Felt like family, no complaints.

Hotel not that expensive and erasonably clsoe to teh beach although need a car to get to the better beaches. Staff friendly although no english spoken. Comfort fairly basic but rooms clean.
The bathroom toilet has a small ventilation type opening to the outside that does not have any glass in it (both rooms so presume it is a general fault), mosquitoes came in via this opening and had a feast at night time. Not good enough and would put me off using this hotel again
